Eco Couture Runway is preparing for its third season with a focus on the relationship between fashion, resource use and more responsible consumption. Season 3 is scheduled for December 18–20, 2026, at Calista Resort, New Delhi, and is being organised by AK Creations.
Presented by HP Singh Fabric and powered by Big Boy Toyz, the event aims to create a public platform where fashion presentation can sit alongside conversations about textile waste, fast fashion, reuse, recycling and circular design. The idea is to encourage participants and audiences to consider not only how clothing looks, but also how garments are designed, used, reused and eventually discarded.
Fashion has a strong role in India’s creative economy, supporting designers, manufacturers, artisans, models, stylists and event professionals. At the same time, the industry faces growing scrutiny over consumption patterns and the resources required to make and dispose of clothing. Platforms that invite discussion can help make these issues more accessible to audiences beyond specialist circles.
Eco Couture Runway aims to connect established and emerging designers with models, brands, institutions and other creative professionals. It encourages collections and concepts that explore conscious design and innovation, while using the runway as a way to make a message visible and memorable.
The event is part of AK Creations’ wider effort to develop fashion and creative experiences that connect talent with a purpose-led theme. Its Season 3 programme is planned as another step in building a platform where creativity and environmental awareness can be discussed together.
