According to the information associated with the contest, more than 1,100 entries were received from across the country. Among these entries, the short film created by Kumar Chatrariya was selected for First Prize at the national level.
Father-Son Collaboration Behind the Award-Winning Film
The short film represents a creative collaboration between Kumar Chatrariya and his father, Nayan Chatrariya, who is associated with the fields of art, education and creative activities in Palanpur, Gujarat.
At a young age, Kumar Chatrariya contributed the concept, writing and acting for the short film. His father, Nayan Chatrariya, handled the direction and editing of the film.
Thus, the project involved both father and son at different stages—from developing the concept and writing the story to acting, direction and final editing. Their combined creative efforts resulted in a film that went on to receive national-level recognition.
Short Film Focuses on Future Planning and Financial Awareness
The film uses a child’s aspirations and future goals as a way to communicate the importance of education, hard work, skills and financial planning.
The central idea connects a child’s dreams for the future with the importance of beginning financial planning at an early stage. Through the story, the film seeks to create awareness about the concept of saving and planning for a child’s long-term future.
The creative presentation of this theme through a short film helped the project stand out in the national-level competition.
