Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s period action drama Ranabaali continued its theatrical run in its first week, drawing audiences despite fluctuations in daily earnings. The film, which arrived in cinemas on October 16, 2026, is approaching the ₹50 crore mark in India’s gross box office collections.
By the end of its seventh day, Thursday, October 22, the film had generated an estimated ₹45.69 crore in India gross revenue, according to live box office tracking figures. The latest numbers indicate that the film is moving closer to the milestone, although its daily collection declined compared with the previous day.
Ranabaali Day 7 Box Office Collection
Ranabaali earned approximately ₹3.24 crore in India on its seventh day, based on updated tracking estimates. This represented a drop of around 42.6% from Wednesday’s collection of ₹5.65 crore.
The film’s first-week performance has included several changes in daily earnings. It opened with ₹8.92 crore on October 16 and collected ₹7.33 crore on its second day. Sunday brought a modest improvement, with earnings rising to ₹7.67 crore.
Collections subsequently fell to ₹5.70 crore on Monday before recovering to ₹7.18 crore on Tuesday. Wednesday saw another decline, followed by the sharper drop on Thursday.
Despite the fluctuations, the film’s cumulative India gross reached approximately ₹45.69 crore after seven days. Its final figures may differ as reporting continues and estimates are revised.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Lead Collections
The film’s strongest performance has come from the Telugu-speaking markets, particularly Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. These regions have accounted for a substantial share of its domestic earnings.
Karnataka has also contributed to the overall collection, while the film has recorded smaller amounts across several other Indian states. Its performance outside its principal markets remains an important factor as it continues its theatrical run.
The figures suggest that the film’s domestic box office business is concentrated largely in southern India. Its ability to attract a broader audience could influence how quickly it reaches the ₹50 crore India gross milestone.
Story and Cast of Ranabaali
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is a historical action drama set in South India during the 1870s. The story draws on the period’s political and social conditions, including the Great Madras Famine, and follows a central character who challenges British colonial rule.
Vijay Deverakonda plays the titular character, Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays Jayamma, his wife. The film combines action and historical drama with a relationship that forms part of the narrative.
Arnold Vosloo appears as the antagonist. The production brings together a period setting, large-scale action sequences and a story centred on resistance during colonial rule.
The movie was released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, giving it a multi-language theatrical rollout.
Can Ranabaali Cross ₹50 Crore?
With its India gross nearing ₹50 crore, the film is approaching an important first-week box office milestone. However, the decline in Thursday’s earnings makes its next few days particularly significant.
Weekend audience turnout, show availability and sustained interest will help determine the pace of its collections. A recovery could bring the film closer to the target, while continued weekday-style declines may slow its progress.
For now, Ranabaali has established a substantial opening-week total, with its next phase in theatres likely to determine whether it can build further momentum.
