Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming a defining technology of the modern digital economy. From education and business to cybersecurity, research and emerging space technologies, AI is changing how organisations solve problems, build products and create new opportunities.

Within this evolving landscape, Dr. Nikunj Vaghasiya, an AI-focused entrepreneur, technology builder and IIT Mandi AI Scholar, is exploring the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), EdTech and digital platforms with a broader vision of developing technology for Indian users and global applications.

His approach is built around a simple principle: technology should not exist merely because it is possible to build. It should be developed to address meaningful problems and create practical value.

From EdTech to Artificial Intelligence

Education is one of the areas where Dr. Nikunj Vaghasiya sees significant potential for AI-driven transformation.

Traditional education has largely depended on classrooms, textbooks and conventional learning systems. However, emerging technologies such as AI tutors, personalised learning systems, automated assessments and intelligent knowledge platforms are creating possibilities for more adaptive educational experiences.

His interest in AI and EdTech reflects this changing environment. The objective is to explore how advanced technologies can become more accessible to Indian students, professionals, entrepreneurs and communities while addressing practical learning requirements.

The broader vision is not simply to create another digital application. It is to explore how technology can be applied to solve real-world challenges.

BharatGPT: Exploring India-Centric AI

One of the initiatives associated with Dr. Nikunj Vaghasiya’s technology vision is BharatGPT.click, which focuses on the concept of bringing AI capabilities closer to Indian users and Indian use cases.

The underlying philosophy is that India should participate in the global AI revolution not only as a technology consumer but also as a technology builder.

India’s large technology ecosystem, extensive developer community, diverse languages and wide range of social and business requirements create opportunities for developing AI applications specifically relevant to Indian contexts.

BharatGPT represents this broader ambition of exploring AI solutions around the needs of Bharat, while contributing to the country’s growing technology ecosystem.

Exploring Digital Platforms Beyond AI

Dr. Nikunj Vaghasiya’s technology journey extends beyond artificial intelligence and LLM-based systems.

He has also worked on digital initiatives such as PerkPilot.online, envisioned around digital memberships, benefits and technology-enabled experiences, and FPRO.in, a platform exploring technology and intelligence-driven digital capabilities.

These initiatives reflect an experimentation-oriented entrepreneurial approach.

Technology development often involves exploring multiple ideas, testing different concepts and understanding what works in practical environments. Each project can contribute to a broader understanding of product development, digital platforms, technology deployment and scalability.

AI With a Human-Centred Purpose

The development of AI is accelerating rapidly. Large Language Models, generative AI, autonomous systems, computer vision and intelligent automation are increasingly becoming part of modern digital life.

However, technological capability alone does not determine meaningful innovation.

A more important question is: What can society build with these technologies?

For India, the potential applications are significant. AI can support students with learning resources, help businesses automate repetitive processes, assist researchers and developers, improve access to information and enable entirely new categories of digital products.

The larger objective should therefore be to develop technology that expands opportunities and improves accessibility rather than creating technology that leaves people behind.

Exploring AI and Cybersecurity

As India’s digital infrastructure expands, cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important.

Every AI system, connected platform and digital service introduces both opportunities and potential security challenges. This creates a growing requirement for secure digital infrastructure and intelligent approaches to identifying and managing cyber threats.

Dr. Nikunj Vaghasiya’s broader technology vision extends toward areas including AI security, cybersecurity, intelligent threat detection and digital infrastructure.

The principle is straightforward: a digitally advanced India must also develop the capabilities required to protect its digital ecosystem.

Looking Toward Space Technology

Another area within the long-term technology vision is space technology.

India’s space ecosystem is creating opportunities for startups, researchers, private companies and technology innovators. Artificial Intelligence can potentially contribute to areas such as satellite-data analysis, Earth observation, autonomous systems, mission planning and intelligent decision-making.

The convergence of AI and space technology represents another emerging frontier where Indian technology capabilities could contribute to larger national and global objectives.

For technology entrepreneurs focused on India’s future, space represents an opportunity to explore applications beyond conventional software and digital platforms.

Building Technology for Bharat

The philosophy behind Dr. Nikunj Vaghasiya’s initiatives can be summarised through three principles:

Build. Innovate. Contribute.

India has already developed significant capabilities across software, engineering, science and digital infrastructure. The next phase of India’s technology journey could involve building increasingly advanced systems in AI, cybersecurity, EdTech, intelligent infrastructure and space technology.

The opportunity is not simply to adopt technologies developed elsewhere. It is also to understand India’s unique requirements and build solutions that can serve those requirements while remaining globally relevant.
