As the future of education increasingly revolves around technology, innovation, and employability, institutions that continuously evolve with industry demands are setting new benchmarks in higher education. One such institution is the ASM Group of Institutes, which has spent over four decades building an academic ecosystem focused on practical learning, professional excellence, and career readiness.

Recently honoured as “Pune’s Best Management Institute” at the Navbharat Education Excellence Awards 2025, ASM Group continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Maharashtra’s leading education providers, offering future-oriented programmes that combine academic knowledge with real-world industry exposure.

A Legacy Built Since 1983

Founded in 1983 under the Audyogik Shikshan Mandal (ASM), the Group has grown into a comprehensive educational network comprising more than 12 institutes across Pune.

Over the years, ASM has expanded its academic offerings beyond management education to include commerce, science, information technology, engineering, and research, creating multiple learning pathways for students at different stages of their academic journey.

Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, approved by AICTE, and supported by NAAC-accredited programmes, ASM has consistently maintained a strong focus on quality education and industry relevance.

Driving AI-Enabled Education

Recognising the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence across industries, ASM has proactively integrated AI-focused learning into its academic framework.

Its flagship institute, ASM’s Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR), was among the pioneering institutions to introduce Artificial Intelligence as a PGDM specialisation, enabling students to develop expertise in AI-powered decision-making, business analytics, automation, and digital transformation.

This forward-looking approach has gradually been extended across other ASM institutions, ensuring students graduate with skills aligned to Industry 4.0 and the digital economy.

Specialised Institutions for Every Career Path

ASM Group has developed a multi-institution model that allows students to pursue specialised education based on their career aspirations.

Its academic ecosystem includes:

IBMR for AICTE-approved PGDM programmes.
IIBR (Institute of International Business and Research) offering postgraduate management education with global business exposure and industry certifications.
CSIT (Institute of Commerce, Science and Information Technology) providing undergraduate programmes in Commerce, Management, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
IPS (Institute of Professional Studies) delivering AICTE-approved MBA education affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.
ASM NextGen Technical Campus, Talegaon, featuring engineering and technology programmes within a modern AI-powered learning environment.

This diversified structure enables students to receive specialised education while benefiting from the broader academic resources of the ASM Group.

Strong Corporate Connect and Placement Support

A key differentiator for ASM is its emphasis on employability.

The Group has established partnerships with globally recognised organisations such as Microsoft, AWS Educate, Harvard Business Publishing, Automation Anywhere, SAP, and NASSCOM, allowing students to gain access to industry certifications, live projects, practical learning experiences, and emerging technologies.

Supported by a placement network of more than 350 recruiters, ASM graduates have secured opportunities across sectors including IT, consulting, banking, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, analytics, FMCG, and digital enterprises.

Today, the institution’s alumni network includes over 75,000 professionals working across more than 60 countries, reflecting the global reach of its education ecosystem.

Expanding Towards the Future

Looking beyond traditional higher education, ASM is actively working toward the development of ASM NextGen University, envisioned as a multidisciplinary institution focused on management, engineering, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and research.

The initiative reflects the Group’s long-term commitment to building an academic ecosystem capable of preparing future professionals for rapidly changing global industries.

According to Dr. Sandeep Pachpande, Chairman of ASM Group of Institutes, the organisation’s vision has always been centred on creating educational institutions that evolve alongside industry while helping students develop practical skills, confidence, and professional competence.

Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders

As businesses increasingly seek graduates equipped with technical expertise, critical thinking, and industry exposure, ASM Group of Institutes continues to position itself as an institution focused on preparing students for long-term professional success.

With more than 43 years of academic excellence, AI-integrated programmes, specialised institutions, global collaborations, and a strong industry ecosystem, ASM continues to contribute to India’s higher education landscape by nurturing professionals ready to lead in an increasingly technology-driven world.
