India | 19 August 2026

India’s fragrance industry is entering an exciting phase as YKS Industries officially launches its premium fragrance oil venture on 19 August 2026. Founded by Chandrakant Shinde and Yash Chandrakant Shinde, the company aims to develop high-quality fragrance solutions in India while building a brand capable of competing in an increasingly international marketplace.

With businesses across fine fragrances, personal care, cosmetics, home fragrances and other consumer-product categories seeking dependable fragrance solutions, YKS Industries is positioning itself around three core principles: quality, consistency and innovation.

Building a New Indian Fragrance Oil Brand

The fragrance oil market has traditionally included a strong presence of established international fragrance houses and global suppliers. YKS Industries enters this competitive landscape with an ambition to create premium fragrance oils from India for businesses seeking sophisticated and consistent fragrance solutions.

Rather than focusing solely on price-based competition, the company aims to develop long-term relationships with manufacturers, fragrance brands and product developers that value product quality, consistency and professional service.

The launch represents an important step toward developing an Indian fragrance oil business with a broader global outlook.

A Founder-Led Vision Across Generations

YKS Industries brings together the experience of Chandrakant Shinde and the entrepreneurial perspective of Yash Chandrakant Shinde.

Chandrakant Shinde provides the foundation of experience and long-term business thinking behind the venture, while Yash Chandrakant Shinde brings a contemporary approach focused on innovation, growth and building a globally competitive enterprise.

Together, their objective is to create fragrance solutions in India that can confidently serve businesses operating in a demanding and competitive market.

Premium Fragrance Oils for Diverse Applications

YKS Industries is developing a premium fragrance oil portfolio intended for a variety of applications across the consumer-products industry.

These applications include:

Fine fragrances and perfumes
Personal care products
Cosmetics
Home fragrances
Other consumer fragrance applications

The company’s focus on multiple applications reflects the broad role fragrance plays in modern consumer products. From personal fragrances to products designed for homes and everyday personal care, fragrance can significantly influence the overall consumer experience.

YKS Industries aims to support manufacturers and product developers with fragrance solutions designed around consistency and performance.

Focus on Quality, Consistency and Innovation

At the centre of YKS Industries’ positioning is a commitment to three fundamental principles: quality, consistency and innovation.

For fragrance manufacturers and product brands, consistency is particularly important because the fragrance profile of a product needs to remain reliable across production cycles. Quality and innovation, meanwhile, can help businesses develop products that stand out in competitive consumer markets.

By placing these principles at the heart of its business model, YKS Industries aims to build a reputation based on dependable fragrance solutions rather than short-term transactions.

International Standards and IFRA Focus

Another important aspect of YKS Industries’ positioning is its focus on IFRA standards.

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) establishes internationally recognised standards concerning the responsible use of fragrance materials. For fragrance manufacturers and product developers, awareness of recognised industry standards is an important consideration when developing fragrance products for different applications.

YKS Industries intends to bring this international outlook into its Indian fragrance oil business, reflecting the company’s ambition to serve increasingly sophisticated fragrance requirements.

India’s Growing Potential in Fragrance Manufacturing

The launch of YKS Industries comes at a time when Indian businesses are increasingly looking toward opportunities to build products and brands with international potential.

For YKS Industries, the objective extends beyond introducing another fragrance oil supplier. The founders aim to contribute to India’s capabilities in the fragrance manufacturing ecosystem and establish an Indian company with ambitions that extend beyond the domestic market.

The company’s positioning can be summarised through its philosophy:

Built in India. Built to Compete. Built to Lead.

This reflects the founders’ broader objective of demonstrating that premium fragrance solutions can be developed in India while maintaining an international perspective.

19 August 2026: The Beginning of a New Chapter

For Chandrakant Shinde and Yash Chandrakant Shinde, 19 August 2026 marks the beginning of a long-term entrepreneurial journey.

The launch of YKS Industries represents the first step toward building a premium Indian fragrance oil brand focused on quality, consistency, innovation and international aspirations.

As the company develops its portfolio and builds relationships across the fragrance, cosmetics, personal care and home-fragrance sectors, its focus will remain on creating solutions that can support businesses looking for reliable and sophisticated fragrance products.

The Indian fragrance industry has significant room for innovation, entrepreneurship and global participation. YKS Industries aims to become part of that evolution by developing its own identity within the premium fragrance oil segment.

Looking Ahead

YKS Industries’ entry into the premium fragrance oil market represents an ambitious effort to combine Indian entrepreneurship with an international business outlook.

With Chandrakant Shinde’s experience, Yash Chandrakant Shinde’s entrepreneurial vision, and a stated focus on quality, consistency, innovation and IFRA standards, the company is preparing to establish itself in a competitive industry.

The launch is therefore more than a product introduction. It marks the beginning of an effort to build a fragrance business from India with the ambition of reaching wider markets.
