Hyderabad, November 2026: India has apps for shopping, banking, food and travel. But what about an app that brings a devotee's everyday spiritual needs together in one place?
That is the idea behind Vedashakthi, a Hyderabad-based SpiritualTech initiative aiming to make devotion, traditional knowledge and spiritual services accessible through a single mobile application.
Developed by Vedashakthi Spirituals Private Limited, the Vedashakthi Bhakti App is now available on the Google Play Store, with an iOS launch planned soon.
Why Another Spiritual App?
For millions of devotees, spiritual activities are part of everyday life. Yet checking Panchangam, reading stotras, listening to mantras, consulting astrologers or finding priests often involves different apps, websites and personal contacts.
Vedashakthi was created to bring these activities together.
The app offers Daily Panchangam, stotras, mantras, devotional music, digital japa, spiritual books, wallpapers, ringtones, festival greeting templates, astrology tools and pandit booking services.
Many of these devotional features are free, allowing users to stay connected with their traditions without paying for everyday spiritual content.
More Than a Bhakti App
Vedashakthi's ambitions extend beyond devotional content.
The company plans to develop a wider digital marketplace connecting devotees, astrologers, Vedic priests, temples, spiritual product sellers, manufacturers and wholesalers.
Its proposed business model includes professional consultations, priest bookings, premium digital services, spiritual product sales and B2B commerce.
The aim is to create a platform that serves devotees while opening digital business opportunities for traditional spiritual professionals and vendors.
The Experience Behind the Idea
Vedashakthi was founded by Deevi Sailendranath Sarma, Peethadhipathi of Sri Kamakshi Peetam, Hyderabad, drawing on 22 years of experience in spiritual activities and Vedic traditions.
“People should not need five different apps for five different spiritual needs. Our vision is to bring daily devotion, traditional knowledge and trusted spiritual services together in one place. We want Vedashakthi to become part of every devotee's daily life,” said Sarma.
From Hyderabad to Bharat
Starting with Telugu-speaking states, Vedashakthi plans to expand across India through multilingual content, professional service networks and spiritual commerce.
The company has set a long-term ambition to reach five crore users.
To support its expansion, Vedashakthi Spirituals Private Limited is also open to strategic investment and business partnerships, particularly in technology, digital marketplaces and nationwide distribution.
With its Android app already available, Vedashakthi is positioning itself as more than a devotional content platform — it aims to become a digital gateway to India's wider spiritual services ecosystem.
