An educator, researcher and musician, he is the founder and director of THE Alankar Academy of Music, established in 2018 with the vision of providing structured music education to aspiring learners.
His interest in music began during his school years through competitions and extracurricular activities. Over time, this passion developed into a professional pursuit, inspiring him to create a dedicated space where students could learn music with proper guidance and regular practice.
A Dedicated Space for Music Learning
Located on Ajwa Road in Vadodara, THE Alankar Academy of Music offers training in guitar, keyboard and vocal music. Its programmes cater to children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to advanced learners.
Students can explore acoustic, electric and bass guitar, keyboard, and Indian and Western vocal music, including folk and devotional singing. The academy offers individual and group learning formats, with selected online learning options.
The focus is on building strong musical foundations through rhythm, technique, coordination, listening and consistent practice.
Experience, Achievements and Student Development
According to his published professional profile, Zala has trained more than 1,000 students in guitar and music. His musical journey includes winning the Radio Mirchi Open Mic event in 2019, along with participation in various college-level music events and performances.
Alongside his work in music, he continues to pursue his academic interests in education and life-science research. His experience as a teacher and musician influences his approach towards creating a supportive and structured learning environment.
