IndiGo to Launch Daily Direct Flights Between Mumbai and Hanoi From October 25, 2026

IndiGo to Launch Daily Direct Flights Between Mumbai and Hanoi From October 25, 2026

IndiGo will introduce daily direct flights between Mumbai and Hanoi, Vietnam, from October 25, 2026, expanding air connectivity between India and Southeast Asia. The new service will give travellers from Mumbai a direct option to reach Vietnam's capital without changing planes en route.

The airline's new route will complement its existing daily direct services from Delhi and Kolkata to Hanoi. The expansion is expected to serve both leisure travellers interested in Vietnam's cultural attractions and business passengers travelling between the two countries.

The Mumbai–Hanoi service will operate in both directions every day, with an early-morning departure from Mumbai and an evening return flight from Vietnam. The schedule remains subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.

Mumbai–Hanoi Flight Timings

The new service will operate under flight numbers 6E 1637 for the Mumbai-to-Hanoi journey and 6E 1638 for the return trip.

The published schedule is as follows:

All timings are local to the respective airports. The Mumbai–Hanoi flight is scheduled to depart in the early morning and arrive in the Vietnamese capital at 10 am. The return service will leave Hanoi at 7:05 pm and reach Mumbai at 11:05 pm.

Passengers should check their booking confirmation before departure because airline schedules may change.

IndiGo Expands Its Vietnam Network

The addition of Mumbai strengthens IndiGo's presence in Vietnam by providing another direct connection to Hanoi. The airline already operates daily non-stop services to the Vietnamese capital from Delhi and Kolkata.

The new route also adds an option for travellers from western India who previously had to consider connecting flights or services operated by other carriers when planning their journeys.

Vietnam has attracted interest from Indian holidaymakers because of its historic cities, food culture, coastal destinations and natural landscapes. Hanoi, in particular, serves as a starting point for exploring northern Vietnam, including destinations such as Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh.

Direct air connectivity can make travel planning more convenient by reducing the need for intermediate stops. It can also benefit business travellers seeking connections between India's commercial centres and Vietnam's growing economic hubs.

IndiGoStretch Premium Cabin Available

The airline will offer its IndiGoStretch premium cabin on the Mumbai–Hanoi route. The product includes wider seats, additional legroom, adjustable headrests, greater seat recline, in-seat charging and priority services.

Passengers booking this cabin can also receive complimentary hot meals. These features are intended to provide additional comfort for travellers seeking an upgraded experience on the international route.

The availability of the premium cabin gives passengers another choice alongside the airline's standard seating options. Specific fare conditions, baggage allowances and other inclusions should be checked during booking.

How Travellers Can Book the New Flights

Bookings for the Mumbai–Hanoi service are available through the airline's official website, mobile application, 6Eskai digital assistant and authorised travel partners.

Travellers should compare available fares for their intended dates and review ticket conditions before completing a reservation. Prices can vary depending on travel dates, demand, seat availability and the selected cabin.

Passengers should also confirm passport validity and Vietnam's entry requirements before travelling, as visa conditions depend on nationality and the purpose of the visit.

What the New Route Means for Travellers

The daily Mumbai–Hanoi service adds another direct connection between India and Vietnam, improving travel options for holidaymakers, business visitors and people travelling for family or personal reasons.

With services already operating from Delhi and Kolkata, the additional Mumbai connection broadens access to Vietnam's capital from major Indian cities.

The new route is scheduled to begin on October 25, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Travellers planning trips around the launch date should verify the latest timetable and booking details before finalising their travel arrangements.
