Jared Kushner Denies Allegations of Secret Saudi and UAE Financial Dealings After Phone Hack Claims

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump and a former senior White House adviser, has strongly rejected allegations of undisclosed financial arrangements involving senior figures in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel. The claims emerged from a newly published report that alleges Dutch intelligence officials obtained access to information from Kushner’s phone during Trump’s first administration.

Kushner has described the accusations as false and challenged the report to provide verifiable evidence. His legal team has also rejected the allegations, saying the accounts described in the report do not exist. The claims have not been established as findings of wrongdoing.

Report Alleges Access to Accounts Worth Billions

The allegations are based on an excerpt from journalist Matthew Cole’s forthcoming book, which examines the reported relationships between Kushner and influential Middle Eastern leaders.

According to the account, Dutch intelligence officials allegedly monitored information from Kushner’s iPhone during the first Trump administration and discovered that he had access to a bank account linked to the UAE. The account was reportedly associated with the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, a charity funded by the Emirati government.

The report claims that approximately $750 million was transferred into the account through a bank in Azerbaijan. Kushner was allegedly authorised to conduct transactions through it, although he was not identified as its owner.

The account was reportedly overseen by figures connected to the UAE leadership. The report further alleges that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan were involved in discussions about using funds to support foreign-policy objectives.

These claims rely on reported intelligence findings and accounts from sources cited in the investigation. They have not been independently established as proof of illegal conduct.

Separate Account Allegedly Involved $1 Billion

The report also describes a second financial arrangement involving an account in Israel that allegedly held around $1 billion. It claims the money was intended for Kushner’s personal benefit and that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu played a role in facilitating access to the funds.

According to the allegations, Kushner communicated about transactions through David Friedman, who served as US ambassador to Israel during Trump’s first term.

The reported arrangements have raised questions about potential conflicts of interest, particularly because Kushner served as a senior White House adviser and was involved in Middle East diplomacy during the same period.

However, the allegations remain disputed. No publicly established finding cited in the report confirms that Kushner secretly controlled the alleged funds for personal gain or improperly used his government position.

Kushner Calls Allegations False

Kushner responded publicly by dismissing the claims as fabricated. He said his representatives had denied the allegations before publication and criticised the absence of supporting financial documentation.

He specifically questioned why the report did not provide bank statements, wire-transfer records, account numbers or transaction dates that could substantiate the accusations.

Kushner also pointed to the scrutiny he faced while serving in the White House, including congressional investigations and a special counsel investigation. He said he had voluntarily cooperated with inquiries and provided more than 30 hours of testimony, arguing that the allegations had not surfaced during those proceedings.

His attorney, Chad Mizelle, also rejected the claims, describing them as defamatory and insisting that the alleged bank accounts did not exist. When asked whether legal action might follow, the attorney indicated that all options remained available.

Questions Over Foreign Influence and Accountability

The controversy has renewed attention on the financial relationships between political figures and wealthy foreign governments, particularly when those relationships overlap with diplomatic responsibilities.

Kushner has maintained close connections with influential figures in the Middle East and has continued to participate in regional diplomacy after leaving his formal White House position. Such relationships have previously prompted public debate about transparency and possible conflicts of interest.

For now, the central allegations remain contested, with Kushner and his legal representatives firmly denying them. Further verifiable documentation or independent findings would be necessary to establish whether the reported financial arrangements occurred as described.
