A report released by Democrats on the US House Judiciary Committee has brought renewed attention to President Donald Trump’s past association with Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender. Published on October 26, 2026, the report outlines accounts involving 11 women, including allegations of rape and sexual assault against Trump, and calls for an independent investigation into potential links between Epstein and other individuals.
The report was released by Representative Jamie Raskin, the committee’s senior Democrat. It draws on interviews conducted by congressional staff, accounts from women, and records from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The allegations remain contested, and the report is not a judicial finding of guilt.
The White House has rejected the accusations, describing them as false and politically motivated.
Report Details Allegations Involving 11 Women
According to the committee Democrats’ findings, five women have directly accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in Epstein’s company or presence. Other accounts describe situations in which Epstein or his associate Ghislaine Maxwell allegedly attempted to introduce or direct women towards Trump.
The report says most of the incidents it examines occurred between 1992 and 1997 in New York and Palm Beach, Florida. Several accounts involve women connected to the modelling industry and beauty pageants.
One of the central allegations concerns Beatrice Keul, a former Miss Switzerland and model. She told congressional staff that Trump raped her in a suite at New York’s Plaza Hotel in November 1993, when she was 24.
Keul said she had attended the American Dream Pageant, an event associated with Trump, and met him during a luncheon. According to her account, Trump offered assistance with obtaining a US visa and gaining admission to New York University.
She alleged that she was later invited to meet him in a hotel suite, where the assault occurred, leaving her with physical injuries. She also claimed that she was pressured to remain silent afterward.
These details reflect Keul’s allegations as described in the report. They have not been established through a court judgment.
White House Denies the Accusations
The White House has categorically denied the allegations contained in the report. Spokeswoman Lauren Bis said the claims were untrue and characterised the document as an attempt by political opponents to damage Trump.
The administration has also maintained that Trump ended his association with Epstein after becoming concerned about his behaviour.
Trump has repeatedly denied wrongdoing connected to Epstein and has said he had no knowledge of the financier’s criminal activities. No criminal charge against Trump arising from Keul’s allegations was identified in the report’s coverage.
The competing statements underscore the distinction between allegations presented in congressional material and facts established through a criminal investigation or court proceedings.
Democrats Call for an Independent Investigation
The report calls on Attorney General Todd Blanche to appoint an independent special counsel to investigate potential co-conspirators in Epstein’s crimes. It also urges greater cooperation with state and foreign prosecutors seeking evidence and further congressional action concerning the release of investigative records.
Democrats allege that federal authorities failed to pursue relevant leads and withheld evidence. The report also raises questions about an interview involving Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking in connection with Epstein.
These claims about the handling of investigations are allegations made by the committee’s Democratic members. They have not been established as findings by a court.
The request for a special counsel would require action by the Justice Department. Congress itself cannot directly appoint a special counsel through the report.
Epstein’s Network Remains Under Scrutiny
Epstein’s relationships with wealthy and influential people have remained a subject of public scrutiny since his arrest and death in federal custody in 2019. His associate Maxwell was convicted in 2021 and sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the sexual abuse and trafficking of minors.
The newly released report places renewed focus on the relationships surrounding Epstein, including alleged connections involving modelling agencies, pageants and prominent figures.
Its publication also raises questions about how authorities handle survivor testimony, investigate potential accomplices and make records available while protecting victims’ privacy.
The next steps will depend on whether the Justice Department responds to the call for an independent investigation and whether additional evidence becomes available. For now, the allegations against Trump remain disputed, and the report itself does not constitute a criminal verdict.
